Join SYM by Submitting a Resource
SYM is dedicated to providing resources specifically tailored for youth groups with 20 students or fewer. Our materials and strategies are designed to help you make a big impact, no matter the size of your group.
Small Youth Ministry resources have been developed by youth workers who know what running a small youth group is like. If you’d like to submit your work, here’s how:
What We Look For
We’re looking for resources that are practical, easy to use, and have been developed and road-tested by you. These resources can be used in a church setting for youth groups of 20ish or fewer.
It can be a resource for students, parents, volunteers, or for other youth leaders: Bible studies, games, retreat plans, fundraisers, and how-to and best-practice ideas.
You must be the creator of the resource. If you created it with others, please make sure to acknowledge them. We don’t accept material published elsewhere unless you, or the organization you represent, own all the rights to it.
Process

Submit your work. Please include the following:
• Your name, email, and phone
• A short bio of your youth ministry experience
• A short description of the resource
• The audience: middle schoolers, high schoolers, volunteers, parents, etc.
• The resource itself
Clear Instructions: Include instructions and tips to help someone use your resource. If it’s a game, what materials do they need to have? How long will it take to run it? If it’s a Bible study, are there any materials they need? Is there a preferred setting, e.g., does this work best outdoors or in a living room?

Give us about a month or so to review your resource.

Once we accept it, we’ll edit and format it.
Our editors are here to make your work shine. We’re also here to ensure proper formatting, grammar, headings, and easy-to-understand instructions.

Your resources will be published on SYM for others to use.
If at any time you want your resource taken down, just let us know.
